So we're set to have our lives ruined on Tuesday. Seeing as both my parents work in the public sector (They're council workers) they will get much less of an income, pension reduced, loss of child tax and maybe lose their jobs.
This could ruin my family life... Fun times ahead.
I think it's ridiculous that households earning over 30k actually get child tax credits as it is. I'm likely to lose out big time in this budget, but I don't feel too hard done by as I could never understand why I'm entitled to free cash in the first place. The only reason I'm skint is because I have a wife. They should give you wife tax credits! If they take away childcare vouchers then I won't be best pleased. Labour hinted at withdrawing them but quickly changed their minds earlier this year.
I would actually say that although Cameron may be a cunt, it's not he who put us in this position, but it's he who has to try to get us out of it. No matter who was in charge this was always coming.
I for one will be continuing to buy lottery tickets.
Maybe if labour hadnt bankrupt the country it wouldnt have.ended up here. Just like the 70's labour ran out of our money by bloating the public sector to unsustainable levels. Why should it be just the private sector that suffers while the public sector sits in its bloated gold lined bubble

Actually, we wouldn't have ended up here if Thatcher hadn't gutted British industry in the 70's/80's. Its the big, consumer economies like Britain and the US that have taken the biggest hit out of the banking/property collapse. Countries like China, that actually make and export shit arent doing too badly.
Because most of our economy is based on trading comodities made in other countries, we have no way out of the financial crisis other than cutting back on stuff like tax credits and public sector jobs.
So to sum up, hang Thatcher, and bollocks to Cameron.

You lost me at Actually
Maggie came in in 79 Labour. The mess of the 70's had nothing to do with her. Labour sucking upto the unions and bankrupting the country in the 70's cant be pinned on maggie. Although you can if you dont know the facts of course.
If you do your reaserch Scargill shut more pits than the conservatives ever planned to. And lets not get into a discussion about british coal. the only way that is useable is if electricty prices rises a 1000% and we throw every emission law out the window.
Ps china and the like do do well at 1p per hour or even less in some places . How do you expect to compete with a minimum wage of 4.60 ?

Gav, If you are opposed to Labours spending and public sector workers then leave your new state subsidised home that was built under the "low cost homes" initiative and go rent privately and arrange your families medical insurance as opposed to the ultimately better service we have got over the past 10 years from the National Health Service, which i have experienced first hand, let's see how that affects you. You can't have it both ways. Stop the sanctimonious hypocrisy, you are starting to sound like the scousers with Hillsborough. oh and by the way....Enjoy your holiday ;)
All this blaming the previous government is very tiresome. Labour had 12 years to sort out Thatchers mess and there is still huge gaps. The Conservatives failed to help the majority of the country after the economic decline caused by Labour in the 70's and just helped their own...blah blah blah. Irresponsible lending on a global scale and people having too many children are the causes of the situation we are in, it is not down to one government, but all of them.
The blame lies with the people. All of you. You should have risen up, overthrown all world governments and installed me as Master of The World. Everything would be ok under my rule, honest, I'd make a great dictator.

After the Crossbows and Catapult victory of 1995 at Kev's, Mr Banana, I believe you did gain the title of Master of Everything. Fat lot of good you have done in your 15 years tenure.
The title is worthless without the human sacrifices to go with it. Thats where the power to control insects comes from. Once the insects are in my thrall the rest will fall into place.
