It's pretty different than the other stuff we've done in the past, more doomy and not a blast beat in sight... for now.
Just started trackin some vocals, the studio is pretty much back in action again! I'll get some pics up asap.

So after massive, tripple chinned, grim delays to our schedule...
We're finally gonna re-track the drums for this album from Thursday to Sunday at The Vaults. I just picked up some (hopefully) sweet new mics for the toms as my C418's just don't cut the metal mustard as far as low end is concerned...
Speaking of low end, I just wired up an old guitar speaker as a sub bass mic to use along side my D112 on the kick for extra depth. WOOT!
New drum heads, new mics, new studio layout/acoustic treatment... this should be a monster. Hopefully gonna be all wrapped up in a few weeks.

Totally different room sound too yeah, I used to just have loads of carpet tiles on the walls/ceiling but that sucked all of the top end out. Now there's just a light carpet on the floor, plaster walls with bass traps/diffusers. I'm spicing up the studio page soon so I'll get some of the new recordings up...
