The solos are amazing in every song. Iron Matron, The King Of Sweden and Second Opinion are good. The rest I really can't get away with. I think the main thing I dislike is tempo of the songs. They never seem fast enough for the riff that's playing, or the drums are trying to make the riff sound faster but it just ends up as this sort of bland tempo that lacks energy.

I know I go on about it a lot, but after listening to the album I just put Death Shed on and I was instantly like "YEAH!!!!!" - Speed was a key thing in my love for HOD.

We're never going to look back at this period and ever dislike SKS as it took up 18 months of our lives, nothing was rushed or argued about, we all played on the album and we had good old japes making it with our mates and got pissed....a lot, which in my world is as good as it gets.

I wouldn't call listening through it a second time 'forcing myself'. As honored as I am in you feeling you have to justify the bands existence so much just to me, I am fully aware that you do it just for fun. I'm not stating my opinion as fact, nor am I expecting you to do anything other that what you enjoy. You can calm down on the defensive.
