Can remember my dad making beer in Liverpool when i was 5 or 6.
I've been wanting to make mead now for a while, might start researching properly into it.

There is a great recipie for it on Amon Amarths website. Honestly!

Some HOD squadder had some for us to try out at Bloodstock.

cheers for the info, looks fairly easy to do.
Where can you buy yeast from though? I've never really seen it in any shops.

I get my first pay cheque on friday so i'll be doing this on the weekend i think.
In six months time i should have my own batch of Mead, i've even thought of a name for it already: 'Iron Meaden'

Yeast can be found at Boots I think, they used to have a home brew section.

Oh, plus it's in the bakery section of big supermarkets, mnnnghhhh, silly me.
