I mean that PC technology has moved on in leaps and bounds since the release of both the PS3 and X-Box which have obviously stayed where they are. This means that the PC has far more resources available as a platform.
So any game that is developed on all three will have to be limited for it's console peers. I'm not poo hooing console games at all (they are more basic, but equally fun at times). But i don't want to see another game i am interested in, ruined by multi-platform development.

This is not the case. My PS3 does loads more stuff now than it did when I first bought it. The hardware may have remained the same but the regular updates, that can be downloaded, tweek the way in which its used in order to get the most out of it. Its most definitely an improvment and not the same as it originally was.

But it is still limited to the shelf life of the console as where as Paul flimsily referenced the PC has the ability to upgrade as you go along with it. Let's not forget the ability to download any game you want for free as well as movies and freeware software and a million, billion other reasons. Steam being quite high on that list.
Paul you just need to actually build your own machine and not go to PC world, a little knowledge goes a long way when it comes to PC.
Dan stop talking rubbish, and Paul you by no means have to spend a couple of grand. You can get something that would run modern games at the same level as a console for near enough the same cash.
Plus there is always the potential for overclocking and tweaks.
