RE: The Walking Dead

Each book is about 800 - 1100 pages in length. I wish i could give you a basic plot outline but i'm shit at describing things and there's so much going on in each book.

If you like Fantasy and amazing character (lots of them), then i would suggest reading 'A song of Ice and Fire'.

Don't go to Wiki for a plot outline as it just gives you the story in short.

I finished reading the 4 current books a few months ago, they are so fucking good that i want to re-read them now.
As much as I want to i can't as i have a massive backlog of books to get through.

These and the Farseer Trilogy books are my all time favorite.

Aye, Robin Hobb is a great author. Avoid the Liveship Traders books though, they're crap.

If you like that sort of stuff, have a go at the First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie.

Awwww, everyone keeps saying Liveship is good.....
I read the Tawny Man books earlier this year and did'nt like them as much as i liked Farseer. I guess i just wanted them to be more epic in scope, it does have some really good bits but the good bits never get expanded :/

I'll add First Law to the list. Cheers.

The last episode in the first series is up on torrents. Can't wait for the next series in 2011, if a zombie apocalypse has not broken out by then...

Fucking hell, November 2011 is a long time to wait even when you know the plot!

Best TV show in a long long time.
