Yes, yes you are.

I don't mind long songs provided they are interesting to listen to but the problem with Iron Maiden's new stuff is it's fucking boring and sluggish.

I think their last good album was Brave New World. What i wants is another Number of the Beast!

Invaders?

Can remember listening to that track on the way back from the shop when i first got the album as a spotty teen.  Been hooked ever since!
And yes the album cover was the reason for me buying the CD in the first place.

No prayer for the dying was my first album. Never really got into Maiden before then but we just got our first cd player and my mum bought me a couple of CD's to go with it. As I'd shown an interest in listening to bring your daughter to the slaughter on the radio she thought I'd like the album. Which I did. I think its a very under rated gem in the Maiden collection.

My first maiden experience was going to a car boot sale at bowlers in Manchester and buying an evil that men do backpatch for £4 for my denim jacket so I was cool when I started high school (fail). Can I play with madness was on Now12 (cassette2?) I never heard another song until bring your daughter got mega high in the charts so I knew a grand total of 3 songs.

First bite at the album cherry, I rented Fear of the dark in from the library to tape then quickly met Stu, Bratty and Goerner in 1992 and we swapped the albums we had by tapeing each others tapes, some of which were taped of vinyl so you can imagine the kerrappy kwalitee.

The fact that we got into music by blagging it for nowt is why our own stuff is free as a kind of good karma thing, true story!
