I was just talking to my mum, she has had experience saving things from the council (Bewsey Old Hall) and she tells me that a petition, regardless of the number of signatures, is only classed as one objection. It would be a better option to print off the letter from the site and send it to the councillors and the planning department.

Yeah they did what your mum said for the old folks home near Stes old flats and it only took 5 letters to get a full council hearing. They got it overturned, sorry to be lazy but haver you got a link for the letter?
