Yep, it's what you think it is. Predator, Predators...Predator?

Predator is back out of the 'Versus' loop and into his own movie again. Not sure what to make of it, as I feel the Predator movies really did need to go further and be a lot better than Predator 2. Yet, it could end up like AVP1 and make us all cry.

Thoughts?

Pretty much exactly the same as yours, only I thought AVP2 was dogshit too.

Should be worth a look. Does anyone remember the Predator game on the BBC micro? Hardest game ever. Walk about for a bit, Predator vision kicks in, dead.

Haha! Fucking hell! I had that on the spectum, game loads (3 mins), screeen is white (15 seconds tops) screen goes red (5 seconds) Game over man game over.

I was trying to be down with the kids last night talking to Ste and the only cool modern games I could think of namedropping was R-type, shinobi and Lemmings.

All other space shooters after R-type became obsolete. R-type 2 was so bloody hard though it took the shine off it. Going back to the start of the level each time was shocking.

Check out the script review for the new Predator film, the concept sounds awesome and i really hope they don't fuck it up.
But they will, because this is modern day hollywood...

Thats right. You can be sure that this will end up a 15 certificate and have alot of of that increasingly annoying "inferred" violence (not infer red like your remote control ;)), minimal blood and shia lebeouf will probably be the lead role.

The gist of the story is that Predators take the best fighters from our world and dump them on a predator type hunting world where they are hunted down by Predators and some new Super Mega Awesome Predators that run this little operation.
The main character is a cop who gets taken to this planet and bumps into this group of gangsters and other such people from around the world (they have various weapons and skills), they do some stuff blah blah blah then find someone that's been hiding on this planet for years and has been hiding in some cave. he gives them the lowdown of what the hells happening and such.
Anyway the predators decide to up the ante by doing something which i can't remember.

Apparently the predators have bird like creatures and dogs to help them hunt, the lazy fuckers.
