Maybe I'm out the loop, maybe we got spoiled last year but what new stuff did anyone get this year that doesn't make 2010 a total rocking write off?

I loved Slash's solo album and Grand Magus was ok,ish but other than that

Wait for the new Electric Wizard album. It's really good. More up tempo, could wind up being a favourite of theirs.

The new sword album in good and Leigh played me Electric Wizzard today which is verry nice indeed.

Intronaut - Valley of Smoke (Best thing I've heard all year)

War From A Harlots Mouth - MMX (They have gone all Meshuggah now, much better than previous releases which are more HC)

The Sword - Warp Riders (Already mentioned but it rocks fuckin hard!)

Withered- Dualitas (Brutal death/black/grind)

Spires (local Manc band doing amazing prog metal, not an official release but it's well good!)

Pantera CFH box set - not new and the remaster is a disgrace to the bands name but the Live @ Foundations/Monsters of rock and the CFH demo's are amazing.

Just listened to the big four concert cds.

Anthrax were ok, but Joey doing Only is really cringe-worthy
Slayer were good but poor tom is just too old
Metallica - Lars shold just pack it in, any live recording proves this, he is so sloppy on this cd
Megadeth were fucking flawless, best of the four.

Megadeth for the past 18 months have been incredible , plus Endgame in my opion was on a par with Rust in Peace.... oh and dont get me started on Bellendadonna!!!!( the overated, over the hill ,over paid, overhyped, whining , cant sing for fukin peanuts cunt!!!)

That big four DVD, the most impressive thing about it other than Megadeth, is how tight James and Kirk still are with there down picking, incredible! Kirk's leads were even good, he ain't no Brodders tho!

Yeah, it got mediocre reviews, complaints about the singer and his voice being too high in the mix and he consequently quit the band.

And a huge album by the band Arkheth containing over 2 hours of fine black metal.
