Just back from the bookies, there are some good odds to be had. I've gone for the following:

£1 e/w on Albania
£1 e/w on Belgium
£1 e/w on Cyprus
£1 e/w on Denmark
£1 e/w on Iceland
50p e/w on Romania
50p e/w on Bosnia


I'd say Azerbaijan and Germany have a fair chance but so do the bookies so the odds are rubbish. Plus, the azerbaijan song is good but the singer was a bit off key in the semi finals.

Anyone else having a bet?

Honorable mention should go to Greece. I don't think it has a chance but it is pretty amusing. Its their usual fair of a bloke in white, dancing with his arms out and shouting "Hey" every so often. It made me chuckle.

I can't work out if we won anything - is each way places 1-4 in this case? If so I reckon we may have broke even.

Yep, 1 to 4. I think that was Romania 3rd and Belgium 4th. It didn't stay on the screen long enough for it to register though. I'm sure a list will be up on the internet soon.

I have no idea how much we will get. I can never figure out the e/w thing. I'm sure it'll be a nice surprise when we go to the bookies. Or possibly a massive disapointment, who knows?

Israel is not in europe anyway, they should stick to killing innocent people on boats, it seems they are very good at that.

Eurovision entry isn't decided by geography, its to do with being a member of the European Broadcast Union. Egypt, Tunisia and Libya could enter if they wanted too. Its a very odd system.
