"Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.

Last week was thw worst of my life. Dio's news was sad but it couldn't have made me sad after everything. But it is a massive loss and I feel like I have missed out by not seeing the mighty guy perform live.

Yeh. I lost a friend in the week. For whatever reason he took his own life.

But I've come to terms with things now and I'm feeling better. Just got to celebrate a persons life.

Cheers Ste. It's a tough one because you can only ask 'why'? But fuck that. You just remember the good times and stick by your close mates and everything works out.

Dio is a loss of course. I was looking forwards to the Elf reunion. They were to team up with Deep Purple again for a fantastic tour but alas it hasn't happened.

I'll raise a drink to Dio any day. What a guy.

Also it was... Nobody knows what he did. But I can't remember him for that. Because I didn't know him for that. I just knew him as a great person and a great influence to me.

They have a new album out soon and it's gonna be a corker I can promise. I was with the rest of the band today and they all seem to be holding up well.
