I've thought about it but I just don't go online enough to justify it. I may rent it though, just to see what its like having a fight with 250 odd other people. I suspect lag but would like to be proven wrong.
Do you know if you will be able to use a headset with MAG? Thats going to be a noisy business with all those people shouting shit at each other. Its bad enough when you get one bell end wearing a head set and playing music at the same time, the chances of that happening here are much more increased. Plus the squeels, oh dear lords imagine the squeels!
As far as know you'll only be in direct contact with your own squad, squad leaders with their squad and other squad leaders and platoon leaders, who'll be in contact with their squad, there squad leaders and other platoon leaders n then the army comander, who is linked to his squad and all his platoon leaders....I think that's right....if it makes sense?!
It makes sense, I read up on it too. I honestly can't see that working very well. Online, who would actually take orders? Maybe a few would but I'd guess that the largest percent would respond to orders with something like "Fuck you noob, that's a retarded plan. Everyone, do this instead (insert their own personal strategy)".
If the disciplin could be maintained I think MAG could be good but trusting the online community to play nice....it ain't gonna happen.
What shifts do you work these days? Do you still get mondays off? I have a few Fridays and Mondays booked off soon, using up my holidays before April. Maybe we could rent it and give it a go.
