The other half knows a woman whose husband is a very good mate of Janick from Iron Maiden. When the wife mentioned to her she was going to come along to see HOD, she said "Oh yeah, Janick's mentioned them. He thinks they're a good band, he recommended them to my husband".

So, there you go.
Iron Maiden have not only heard of you, they're recommending you to their friends.
