There is a difference between unexpected and random. Nothing is random where people are involved, this is a fact. In this example, the pictures have been carefully selected, based on their comedy value, uploaded to photobucket and then posted here. This is not random, a choice was made to carry out those actions and the result was as expected. With regard to the initial creation of the picture, again this is not random. Someone would have considered what the most amusing caption would have been and then distributed it on the internet. Choices were made and the expected result was achieved. The inappropriate use of the word random is most annoying and appears to be growing. It must be stopped! I find it almost as offensive as the word “addictive” being perverted into “addicting”. I blame America and the internet. Anyway I dare not enter into a rant, it will spoil my day. As for the Nazis I was expecting them to pop up at some point as they appeared on frankenmails a while ago, in a slightly better format. Also of note on the following link is the pie chart picture. Most amusing indeed.

Black text for no reason? How random.

My latest beef is calling for the removal of 'giving 110%', because of constant sports coverage & shows like the apprentice and talent shows, even claiming to do 110% isn't good enough nowadays, even though 100% is an absolute maximum. It's evolving into 200% or some go as high as 1,000%.

Giving more than your personal best is being devalued by overblown ego-riddled claims that by all reason can't be delivered.
