If you liked Captain Morgans Revange, you will like this. Its more of the same pirate metal silliness, including a rather special cover version of last years Latvian Eurovision song, Wolves of the Sea.

This is a promo album and has the odd "piracy is a crime" message in most of the songs. However, as its done in a pirate voice, its not so bad.

At first I thought it was some kind of moral warning that even though they are singing about pirates, actually taking to the seas and robbing people (Somalian style) is not big or clever. I thought it was a bit silly, then I realised it was me who was being silly.

I really like the Latvia Eurovision cover thing, have done for a while.

But thats about as far as it goes for me because the whole battle metal thing is such a boring novalty. A friend of mine is good mates with them and they whore out his solo project (with no good results), but this guy is so up himself that it really annoys me and i dont wanna even check out all of this stuff. There will be facebook status updates of "LOL, Alestorm vocalist spilt beer on me" and "Just written an 8 minute intro". Just craving attension.

I cant, but i should. I mean other people who know him think the same, so maybe somebody else will say the same. But i mean he makes good artwork though, and i get some of that for free haha.
